2025 Porsche 911 GT3 Expects Inexplicable Price Increase

10/24/2024

Porsche has updated the 911 GT3 for 2025. While it retains a similar exterior design to its predecessor, the automaker has made some changes to the exterior, upgraded the interior, and improved the suspension system. This updated version of the 992.2-generation GT3 also carries a significantly higher price, starting at $224,495 including a $1,995 destination charge.

This new base price represents a $53,000 jump over the 2023 GT3, and is $40,000 more than the 2024 model, which had a starting price of $171,500 and $184,550, respectively.

The GT3 continues to be powered by a naturally aspirated 4.0-liter flat-six engine producing 502 horsepower, although Porsche has modified the engine to meet stricter emissions regulations. Improvements include the addition of GT3 RS camshafts, new throttle bodies and updated cylinder heads, while still offering the choice of a six-speed manual transmission with a shorter final drive or a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission.
