The Lada Aura sedan, which has an extended body platform from the Lada Vesta, will be available for purchase in November 2024. An important event is that for the first time the price of a new car exceeded 3 million rubles; for commercial use (taxi) it will cost 2.6 million rubles.
AvtoVAZ reported that 244 new elements were integrated in the process of creating the Lada Aura. The car underwent extensive laboratory and road testing, and the adaptation of parking sensors and blind spot monitoring systems, as well as engine and transmission calibration, were carried out.
