The largest residual value of a car in Russia was 132%!

10/28/2024

The car market shows that aftermarket cars are performing well.

Surprisingly, it’s true: in the realm of buying and selling, some models not only maintain their value over time, but even increase in price.
Among such cars, Chinese brands are now in the top.
Specifically, according to Autostat, the Haval Jolion model has impressive results; it ranks first in residual value among three-year-old Chinese cars.

In a study conducted in the second quarter of 2024 entitled “Car Residual Value”, it was found that the Haval Jolion with front-wheel drive, 1.5-liter engine and robotic transmission showed a residual value of 132%!

Amazing! This means that owners of such a vehicle purchased in the second quarter of 2021 now have the opportunity to sell it for more than the original purchase cost.

In second place after the leader is the JAC J7 with a score of 127%, followed by the Geely Coolray and Haval F7, both scoring 126%.
Haval F7x closes the top five with a score of 123%.
All of the listed automakers demonstrated a retention of value (RV) index of over 100%, which confirms the trend towards an increase in the value of vehicles within three years of their operation.
