The prototype of the Xiaomi SU7 Ultra electric car demonstrated impressive results on the Nürburgring track, setting a new record for four-door cars.

Testing on the legendary Nordschleife circuit, driver David Pittard, winner of the 2023 Nürburgring 24 Hours, completed a lap of 6:46.874, making the SU7 Ultra the fastest four-door car on the circuit.

Xiaomi Auto founder and CEO Lei Jun noted that the debut of the SU7 Ultra production model is not only a significant achievement, but also the beginning of a new chapter in the company's history.

The SU7 Ultra prototype was unveiled in July this year as a high-performance, racing version of the SU7 sedan. Equipped with a powerful Xiaomi V8s engine with 1526 horsepower, the prototype demonstrates exceptional acceleration dynamics: acceleration time to 100 km/h is only 1.97 seconds, to 200 km/h in less than six seconds, and a top speed of more than 350 km/h.

The launch of the production version of the SU7 Ultra is expected in the first half of 2025. It is assumed that the production model will retain the main characteristics of the prototype, including a three-motor setup and battery configuration.
